Busy? Ya think?

Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday to you. It was another busy weekend. I'm not so sure when I haven't had a busy weekend!! We had a good one, though. We started off the week with Ashlyn having cheerleader tryouts. Even though she cheered last year; that does not assume a spot automatically. She had tryouts and did great. She made it and we are thrilled. She's a great leader and will be an asset to the squad.
Friday night was her big graduation banquet. Since high school, the Williams girls tradition has been to have a "primp day" and skip school all day. Ashlyn slept in, we went to get a manicure/pedicure, went to the tanning bed, lunch at Sonic, then went to get her hair done. We got home and had a little time to chill. Friends came over and we got the girls ready! They were stunning. Ashlyn wore a lovely deep plum dress this year. The boys came and picked up the girls and we headed to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club and took pictures. From there we left and headed up to see the decorations/take more pictures. Ashlyn/Ben looked so cute together. They did an all-nighter - the youth went to Shades Mountain Baptist Church and got home Saturday morning @ 5:00 a.m. She went straight to bed and we didn't see/hear from her until @ 2:30 Saturday afternoon.
Saturday night we went to the school's Sports Banquet. Ashlyn cheers and plays basketball. She was given certificates in both but received a trophy for her leadership in cheerleading. We were proud of her. Then she went over to Ben's with some friends and hung out. Don't know how these kids can do what they do ... all that energy. I remember :)
The pictures above are from cheer tryouts, the banquet and the sports banquet. Pray for us as we leave Thursday for Lynchburg and will be driving home on Mother's Day. Pray for safety while traveling, graduation, etc. We are soooo excited! I surely don't look old enough to be a mother of a college grad - RIGHT?!? Ha ha!! Don't care; I'm so proud of our girl.
See ya!! Joy
P.S. I'm noticing the pictures are not in order; I thought I had put them that way. Just "envision" that they are in order in the events that it happened :)
