Hi Everyone! We had Comedian Ken Davis at our church today. He was so great; as always. I've heard him so many times and am blessed every time I hear him. He and his wife are so sweet and are the real thing. He preached today on excuses we give as Christians, as to why we don't serve the Lord and witness. Here are the four reasons he gave:

1. I'm A Nobody - let someone else do it. We can rest easy. We are a nobody. God
is looking for a nobody to use. It easily gets me out of the way and lets God
be God and do a work through me. When we realize we ARE nothing without the Lord;
that's when He can truly begin His work in and through us.

2. I Don't Know What To Say - God will tell me what I am to say. He will give me
the exact words I need at the right moment. Why is it we can talk away to family
and friends; but when it comes time to share Christ; we clam up? The times I
have the awesome privilege to lead someone to Christ; I can only sum it up to
that it was all Him; not me. God doesn't want our ability just our availability.

3. I Don't Talk Good - God will perfectly equip me.

4. Send Somebody Else - God tells us in Exodus 3 "no, I've chosen you."

These were of great encouragement to me today. I pray they will be to you too.
