Easter is coming!

I didn't realize Easter is about one month away. For some reason I thought it was in April this year. Two pictures above are of some special Easter baskets that have been our girls. Brittney's first Easter she was ten months old. A precious lady in our church in Jacksonville hand-made these Easter baskets. Her husband also made us a lovely hand-made toy box when Brittney was little. Anyway ... each Vines grandbaby has a wooden Easter basket. Ashlyn's first Easter she was six months old. Each Easter these special baskets have held the girls Easter goodies as we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Many an Easter egg hunt happened ... now we don't color eggs (not because I haven't TRIED) anymore; at ages 16 and 20; they don't want to. I got these out today to spruce the house up for some Spring. They bring back many memories that we'll always cherish. I'll have to post pictures later with the girls as they were small. Just walking down memory lane ...

I also have been scrapbooking some this week. I did each of the girls a K-4 through Grade 12 scrapbook. I completed Brittney's three years ago and had it on display at her graduation weekend. I'm catching up on Ashlyn's 10th grade year. It takes a while; because I stop and look at all the pictures again; cry ... laugh ... journal. Here are two pictures from what I'm doing. I'm almost done!

Enjoy!
